Q. How can we check on the developer, to see if their building work is going as per schedule?

Mrs. M. Alinia
Plymouth

    A. The works are normally checked visiting the site and inspecting personally the works. However, and given that most of us do not understand the technical side of the works, another way of checking is by approaching the bank that is giving the mortgage. Banks release the funding for constructing in stages. The developer will have to prove by means of 'certificaciones' that the works are per schedule in order to obtain the funding for the next stage.
